The Seven Chakras Revealed

Good morning beautiful people!

Today is going to be about the seven Chakras in our body. Here is an image we found on Pinterest:

It is important to get to know your chakras because they embody the energy that flows within you. The blockage of one of these can cause different illnesses depending on which one it is, and if we know which one it is then we can start healing and keep the energy flowing freely.

Here’s a light description about each 7 chakra in the body:

Number 1 is the Root Chakra which express our settlement and sensation of being grounded. It is located at the base of the spine, in the tail-bone region and is related to emotional issues linked with survival issues such as independence with finances, food, and money.

Number 2 is the Sacral Chakra which reveals our power to connect and appreciate others as well as new experiences. It is situated at the lower abdomen, approximately 5 cm below the navel. It’s emotional side is influenced with the sense of well-being, pleasure & sexuality.

Number 3 is the Solar Plexus ChakraThis chakra connects our self-control and overall confidence. It’s found at the upper abdomen which is still in the stomach region. The Solar Plexus Chakra’s emotional issues are about self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth.

Number 4 is the Heart Chakra which is our capacity to love. It is situated in the centre of the chest, just above the heart. Emotional issues attached to this chakra are of course love, inner peace and joy.

Number 5 is the Throat Chakra and as it’s location is at the throat itself, this denotes our capacity to communicate. Self-expression of feelings and truth are the emotional issues attached to this chakra.

Number 6 is the Third Eye ChakraThis is where our capacity to focus and visualise things from an outside perspective comes from. It is located in between the eyes on the forehead and is associated with imagination, wisdom, ability to engage thought and make decisions.
